Thought 29- Change

Do not seek to improve people.
It cannot be done.
To seek to improve someone
is to treat them as an object.
If you treat people as objects,
you will lose them.

The Scriptures say,
“There is a time for every purpose under heaven.”
Let the time for everything come and go.
People will be sad, and happy;
full of vigor, and exhausted;
peaceful, and anxious;
rich and poor.
Let all these things come and go
without trying to control them.
Stay at the center of the Word
and…people will have a place
to safely be themselves.
