Letting Go, Letting God

Letting Go, Letting God

When all has been done that can be done,
Though this to some, may seem very odd,
The paramount need appears to be
Just letting go, and letting God.
It’s like closing the door, wrapping oneself
In a kind of solitary pod,
And there in faith-filled quietness
Just letting go, and letting God.
No need to struggle or plead the prayer,
For when mind and heart no longer plod,
Amazingly, the answer comes —
Just letting go, and letting God.
